About Us

The Hanna Foundation is a private charitable foundation registered charity, founded on the 20th October 2013 and registered officially on the 2nd January 2015 by the Charity Commission. Founded by five trustees from the same family, our mission has always been to create a structured and impactful way to support the charities and causes closest to our hearts. All decisions related to the operational capability and charitable actions of the Hanna Foundation are unanimously agreed by the trustees.

Our Approach

We primarily operate through private donations, with the majority of our funding coming from family contributions. By working directly with other charities, we minimize administrative burdens and ensure full compliance with all regulations. This direct approach allows us to maximise the effectiveness of our support while maintaining the highest level of integrity and accountability.

Unlike traditional charities, we do not actively fundraise from the public, although we are registered for Gift Aid and with HMRC. Transparency is a cornerstone of our work, and all our accounts and annual reports are readily available to anyone interested. Maintaining a strong reputation is paramount, and we take pride in being open about how funds are allocated and managed.

Our Philosophy

The Hanna Foundation was founded on the belief that it is always better to do something good, no matter how small, rather than nothing at all. We hope to inspire others to contribute in any way they can, regardless of their financial situation. Every act of generosity, no matter the scale, has the potential to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Our Endowment Fund
